Polymer strain insulator is a high voltage insulator made of organic silicone rubber composite material. The main products are bar type and cross arm type, which can be used as overhang and tensile bearing insulation on 35kV, 110kV and 220kV lines. Currently there are also insulator products for 10kV lines.
The shape structure of composite insulator is similar to that of suspension insulator, which is composed of end fittings, insulation umbrell-shaped corrugate, sheath and single sleeve rod..
