Description

The main raw materials of our Glass Disc Insulators include quartz sand, feldspar, limestone, dolomite, soda ash, potassium carbonate and other materials. The resulting tempered glass is a homogeneous silicate with better internal microstructure uniformity than electric porcelain and has better dielectric strength. At the same time, the surface of toughened glass is resistant to pressure and has excellent thermal stability, so it can be adapted to long periods of use in outdoor environments.

Our Glass Disc Insulators play an important role in electrical lighting systems because of their unique properties, which offer higher fracture resistance, mechanical compressive strength, and electrical resistance than ceramics.
