Its performance is similar to that of electrical ceramics, outstanding in aging resistance and corrosion resistance, and high production efficiency. At present, electrical ceramics have been replaced as one of the main manufacturing materials for pillar insulators in many places.
Synthetic silicone rubber:
The obvious advantages of synthetic silicone rubber are high strength and light weight. After a certain modification, the corrosion resistance will be greatly enhanced, and the cost performance is very high. However, compared with the first two materials, the development of a slow start, the scope of application has not been expanded.
