Description

Our Porcelain Disconnect Switch is a hook-operated, porcelain-type disconnect switch for dividing or isolating circuits in electrical distribution systems. It is suitable for the cut-off and shutdown of no-load, no-voltage single-phase or three-phase circuits in AC 50Hz power systems, and can be installed on single or double cross-arms. Its current ratings are 600 or 900 A continuous and 65 kA peak withstand current (40 kA instantaneous).

Features

The Porcelain Disconnect Switch has internal galvanised reinforced channels for increased corrosion resistance and operational robustness. It is suitable for use in areas with altitudes ≤ 1000 m, wind pressures up to 700 Pa, minimum -40°C and maximum +50°C. The installation site should be away from chemical deposits such as gases, fumes and other corrosive substances such as dust that can seriously affect the insulation.
